Manchester High are the champions of the ISSA Grace Headley Cup after defeating St Elizabeth Technical by five wickets on Friday's third and final day of the grand finale in Santa Cruz. manchester who were set 164 for victory, got to their target with five wickets to spare thanks to javardi francis who top-scored with 53 not out. Andre Morgan also chipped in with 45 against Roberto Simpson 3-19 and Andre McCarthy 2- 25.
Earlier, STETHS who resumed their second innings on 117-4, were eventually bowled out for 190. Xavier Burton topped scored for STETHS with 36 while Odane Thompson got 33 not out. Wavel Anniford bagged 3-69; Jaheem Bartley 3-48 and Andre Morgan 2-40. Scores: STETHS 187 and 190; Manchester High 214 and 164-5. Manchester High were winning their first Headley cup title since 2013.
