Manchester High go on the rampage in DCup

Manchester High continued their marauding run in the ISSA FLOW DaCosta Cup competition swamping Winston Jones 20-0 on Wednesday afternoon to stay perfect in Group ‘F’.  

In chalking their 9th straight win, Manchester High moved to 27 points, eight more than nearest challengers Decarteret College.

The suspense in the very competitive Group ‘E’ continued as Lacovia High clipped Maggotty High 1-0 to stay atop with 19 points, just one more than last year's beaten finalists Steths who blanked BB Coke 4-0.

Munro College stayed in touch in third place on 16 points after beating Newell 2-0.

In other matches, St Jame High beat Green Pond 3-0, Green Island edged Frome 2-1, Godfrey Stewart clipped Maud McLeod 1-0, Thompson Town got by Edwin Allen 2-1, Alston beat Bellefield 2-0, Fair Prospect beat Titchfield 2-0, as did Kemps Hill over Foga Road.

Elsewhere, York Castle nipped Ocho Rios 1-0,  Brown’s Town defeated Steer Town 3-0, Central and Old Harbour ended 1-1, Petersfield turned back little London 6-0, Bog Walk also scored a big 7-0 win over Tacius Golding and Lennon eased by Kellitts 3-0.
