McLeod and Thompson head team for World Indoor Champs

Olympic and World Championship 110 metres hurdles champion Omar McLeod and Olympic double sprint champion Elaine Thompson headline Jamaica’s male and female teams for the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Birmingham, England from March 1-4.

McLeod is the defending 60m hurdles champion while Thompson will seek to improve on her bronze medal two years ago in Portland, Oregon. The men’s team has 14 members while he female contingent has 16 athletes.

The Technical Director will be Maurice Wilson with the other coaches being Fitz Coleman, Danny Hawthorne, Michael Vassell and Paul Francis with Michael Frater and Deon Hemmings McCatty as team managers.
