Miller retires from first class cricket

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Trishana McGowan

The Jamaica Scorpions two wicket defeat to the Barbados Pride on Sunday, marked the end of an illustrious first-class career for left-arm spinner Nikita Miller who announced his retirement following the game. Miller who captained the team in what was his 100th first-class game, said an incident during the game influenced his decision.

Miller said at that point he was struggling with the injury and going through the motion and bowling conservatively in order to complete the spell. Miller ends his first class career with 538 wickets.
