Miller's X1 hold advantage in JCA practice match

Nikita Miller's X1 quickly reduced David Bernard's X1 to 33-2 in their first innings reply on day two of the Jamaica Scorpions’ three day practice match at Sabina Park. John Campbell 22 and Danza Hyatt 7, were the not out batsmen at the close. Derval Green has so far taken 2-14 for Miller's X1.

Earlier, Miller's X1 were dismissed for 272 in their first innings after resuming on 14-2 from Tuesday's rain-affected opening day.

They were led by a century from Paul Palmer Junior who scored 101 including 7 fours and 2 sixes. Devon Thomas also made 83 and Miller 47. Stefan Casey took 3-55 and Levridge 2-49 for Bernard's X1.
