More Manning Cup games aborted due to lightning

At least two matches were called off on Tuesday in the ISSA Manning Cup Competition due to lightning. The game between Calabar and St George's College was called off at half-time due to the inclement weather while the Kingston College versus Dunoon Technical contest was aborted at half-time also for safety reasons.

Calabar’s principal Albert Corcho, who is also a vice president of ISSA, said he was willing to err on the side of caution:. The match between Calabar and St George’s was tied at 0-0 at half-time while KC were leading Dunoon 2-0 in their contest when it was called off.
