Mount Pleasant aims to complete more history at CONCACAF Champions League

Head coach of Mount Pleasant Academy's Under 13 football team Vannie Vlarke says he is aiming to create more history at the ongoing CONCACAF Under-13 Champions League in San Jose, Costa Rica. The St Ann-based club became the first Jamaican and Caribbean club in the history of the tournament on Monday to top their group.

The Jamaican club will play Guatemalan club Communicaciones in the last eight on Wednesday. Communicaciones have scored 11 goals and conceded five goals so far in the competition while Mount Pleasant Academy have scored 11 and conceded 2.
