Mount Pleasant join Waterhouse atop RSPL table

Former champions Harbour View blanked Vere Untied 2-0 at home in their Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) match on Monday night at the Harbour View Mini Stadium. Jahshaun Anglin and McKaulay Tulloch in time added, were the
scorers for Harbour View. Despite the win, Harbour View remain 9th, but moved to 35 points, while Vere remain rooted at the foot of the standings.

Meanwhile, Mount Pleasant Academy joined Waterhouse atop the table after blanking Arnett Gardens 2-0  at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex on Sunday. Cardel Benbow in the 46th minute and Kemar Beckford in time added, scored for Mount Pleasant Academy to give them the three points.

With the victory, Mount Pleasant moved to 50 points, the same as the leaders Waterhouse who suffered their first defeat since December when they were outscored 4-3 by Tivoli Gardens  at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex.

Cavalier scored all their goals in the first 6 minutes as they recorded a comfortable 3-0 win over UIWI FC at the Mona Bowl. It was also goals galore at the Constant Spring playfield, as Dunebholden outscored Molynes United 4-2.

Defending champions Portmore United and Humble Lion were the inactive teams this past game week due to Portmore's participation in the CONCACAF Champions League.
