National rugby league team into Americas Championship final

Jamaica's rugby league team defeated Canada 38-8 on Tuesday in Florida to advance to the Americas Championship final. Ben Jones-Bishop led the way for Jamaica with two tries while Jymel Coleman had five conversions. In the other semi-final, the United States defeated Chile 62-0.

The attention now shifts to Saturday where the Jamaicans will take on the USA for a World Cup berth. The winner of that game will go to the World Cup while the loser will go into an intercontinental playoff against South Africa and the Cook Islands.
