Night football could again be a feature in this season’s ISSA FLOW schoolboy football competitions. Competitions Officer at ISSA, George Forbes says despite some challenges, it remains an option.
“We think that night football is the way we are eventually going to go. The problem we have is that many of the venues do not have sufficient light. We are going to be speaking to Major (Desmon) Brown at the Stadium to see if we can get Stadium East to do some matches and it’s something we are actively pursuing,” said Forbes.
Defending Manning Cup champions Jamaica College are drawn in Group "B" with Eltham, Spanish Town High, St Andrew Technical and Vauxhall.
Meanwhile, DaCosta Cup champions St Elizabeth Technical are drawn in Zone "E" with Black River, Lacovia, Maggotty, Munro College and Newell.
