One contender for JFF presidency quits race

The race for the presidency of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has now been cut to four  this as vice-president Raymond Anderson has ended his campaign. According to RJR Sports sources, St Mary FA which was behind Anderson, has now thrown its support over to Stewart Stephenson.

RJR Sports further learned that Stephenson has received the backing of St Catherine, St Thomas along with Kingston and St Andrew, bringing his number to four so far. Clarendon FA president ichael ricketts is said to have secured five nominations to date.

St Ann FA president Danny Beckford has the backing of his parish, while the fourth man Craig Butler could see his race ended on Tuesday. Stephenson, Beckford and Butler met with the Trelawny FA on Friday.
