Orchids and Racers play out exciting tie in Elite Netball League

A 39-39 tie gave spectators a thrilling experience at the most recent Berger Elite Netball League match at the Leila Robinson Courts. Tracy Francis had 37 goals from 44 attempts as the St Ann Orchids and St Catherine Racers ended in deadlock. A 24-23 lead for the Racers heading into halftime turned into a 32-30 lead at the end of the third quarter before the former champions Orchids fought back to see the match end in a tie.

Simone Gordon had 26 goals from 38 attempts for the Orchids as they remain in third spot  behind leaders Manchester Spurs and cup holders Kingston Hummingbirds. The league continues on Saturday.
