Port Antonio take lead in Zone 'I' of DaCosta Cup

Port Antonio High came up 2-1 winners over Happy Grove in Friday's lone game from the ISSA Flow DaCosta Cup.

The victory allowed Port Antonio to assume the lead in Zone "l" on 9 points, two ahead of Titchfield. The competition continues on Saturday with 40 matches.

In some of the top games, defending champions Cornwall will look to rebound from their shock 3-1 loss to Maldon on Wednesday when they play away to Anchovy; Rusea's take on Frome in a battle of the former champions; Herbert Morrisson battle William Knibb; Godfrey Stewart face Petersfield; STETHS oppose Newell; Munro take on BB Coke; Manchester High face Mile Gully; Edwin Allen will welcome Clarendon College; Brown's Town meet Marcus Garvey; Charlemont oppose Bog Walk; Titchfield play at home to Fair Prospect; Glenmuir meet Bellefield; Garvey Maceo oppose Central High while Morant Bay and Paul Bogle clash in zone "O".


All games are set to begin at 3:30 pm.
