Portmore United and Arnett Gardens registered the only wins in Sunday’s action from the Red Stripe Premier League. Portmore United clipped Jamalco 2-1 at the Wembley Centre of Excellence.
Ricardo Morris and Jermy Lynch put Portmore two goals clear by the 54th minute while Jamalco made the last 20 minutes interesting with a 71st minute goal from Shauntel Mundle.
Meanwhile, Kemal Malcolm's stoppage time goal earned Arnett a hard fought 1-0 win over Reno at Frome. UWI FC are top of the table on goal difference after ending 0-0 with Waterhouse at Drewsland.
They have 43 points, same as Montego Bay United who also played out a 0-0 all stalemate away to Maverley Hughenden at the Constant Spring Field.
Tivoli can take over sole leadership of the league if they win on Monday against Harbour View in a 8 o'clock match. Boys’ Town will also play Humble Lion at 5:30 with both games to be played at the National Stadium.
