Portmore United held by struggling Harbour View in RSPL

Title holders Portmore United were held to a 1-1 draw by Harbour View in Sunday's Red Stripe Premier League action at the Prison Oval. Chevany Willis gave Portmore United a 20th minute lead. However, Peter Lee Vassell tied things up 8 minutes later for the "Stars of the East". Montego Bay United are now two matches without a win following the dismissal of coach Vassell Reynolds.

Reynolds was booted following a 2-0 win over UWI FC, but the former champions have had to contend with two drawn since. They were held 0-0 by Tivoli Gardens at Wes Pow Park. Mount Pleasant Academy scored two unanswered goals as they handed UWI FC their sixth straight defeat. Ronaldo Rodney and Kesslon Hall were the scorers for Mount Pleasant. In late kick offs, Cavalier and Reno ended 0-0. Arnett Gardens and Humble Lion will meet on Monday.
