Relegation-threatened Boys' Town pulled off the shocker in Sunday's series of games in the Red Stripe Premier League when they clipped defending champions and neighbours Arnett Gardens 2-1 in the Collie Smith Drive derby at the Barbican Complex.
Daemion Benjamin gave the "Red Brigade" the lead as early as the second minute of the contest and Arnett had to wait until the 69th minute for the equaliser courtesy of Shamar Pryce. However, Boys' Town would leave with all three points as Benjamin popped up for his double nine minutes from time.
Former national striker Dino Williams continued his recent goal-scoring form with a double strike as former champions Montego Bay United came from 2-0 down to beat Sandals South Coast 4-2 at STETHS. Ronaldo Rodney and Lesly St Fleur were the other scorers for Montego Bay United.
Junior McGreggor scored two brilliant free-kicks in Tivoli Gardens' comfortable 3-1 win over Cavalier at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex. Andre Moulton added the other goal for Tivoli in the 44th minute while Dinthill Technical DaCosta Cup star Kaheem Parris came off the bench to get Cavalier's consolation goal in the 69th minute.
Elsewhere, FC Reno recorded a 2-0 victory over UWI FC at the Mona Bowl with Ramone Plummer getting both goals in the 49th and 64th minutes. Waterhouse will entertain Harbour View in a battle of the former champions in the Monday night fixture at the Drewsland Mini Stadium.
