Jamaican international Shamar Nicholson has joined Belgian top flight club Royal Charleroi on a four year deal from Slovenian club NK Domzale for €1.5 million. The former Boys' Town man passed a medical with the club on Tuesday. The 22 year old attracted the interest of the Belgian club after impressing this summer in the CONCACAF Gold Cup for Jamaica and in the UEFA Europa League with Domzale.
Nicholson scored 20 goals in 47 games for Domzale in his 3 year spell with the club. He says he is elated with the move. Charleroi are currently seventh in the Belgian League.
