Reggae Boy Watson released by USL outfit

Jamaican international Je-Vaughn Watson has been released from United Soccer League team Charlotte Independence after spending one season with the club. The 35 year old scored 1 goal in 21 appearances for the club in 2018.

The former Sporting Central Academy player will now be on the hunt for his fifth club in the United States after previous stints with the Houston Dynamo, FC Dallas and the New England Revolution. Watson has scored four goals in 70 appearances for the Reggae Boyz.
