Reggae Boyz hold firm in FIFA rankings

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz have remained at number 54 in the February edition of the FIFA world rankings. Jamaica also stays at number four in CONCACAF while Mexico leads the way as they are 17th in the world. The United States is second in the region while Costa Rica is third. Jamaica also remains number one in the Caribbean, a streak which they have maintained since November 2017.

The next highest ranked Caribbean team is curacao who sit 81st. Jamaica's highest ever FIFA ranking is 27th which was achieved in August 1998. Their next international assignment will be in the CONCACAF Nations League against El Salvador in March. The top ten in the world has also stayed constant as Beligum is number one for four months in a row. The top ten reads: Belgium, France, Brazil, Croatia, England, Portugal, Uruguay, Switzerland, Spain and Denmark.
