Reggae Girlz name squad for friendly international against Panama

With just under two weeks to go before the Reggae Girlz face Panama in a friendly international  at the National Stadium, a 24-member squad has been released via the Jamaica Football Federation's instagram page. The squad sees a return of Trudi Carter, who plies her trade in Isreal, but had been sidelined through injury. Surprisingly, several uncapped players have been drafted into the side.

They include Madiya Harriot of Venderbilt University, Mireya Grey of Washington Huskies, Chyanne Dennis of South Florida Bulls, all in the USA and Yazmeen Jamieson, who plays in New Zealand. The rest of the squad reads: captain Konya Plummer, Khadija "Bunny" Shaw, Sashana "Pete" Campbell, Toriana Patterson, Ashleigh Shim, Allyson Swaby, Nicole McClure, Dominique Bond-Flasza, Deneisha Blackwood, Chinyelu Asher, Chanel Hudson-Marks, Chantelle Swaby, Christina Chang, Laura Jackson, Olufolasade Adamolekun, Jadyn Matthews, Shakira Duncan, Chris-Ann Chambers and Marlo Sweatman.

The game on May 19 at 6:00 pm at the National Stadium will be the Reggae Girlz farewell match before they head to the World cup in France. They will also play a practice game in the United States then a friendly international in Scotland before travelling to Grenoble.
