Reggae Girlz poised for final round of CFU WC qualifiers

After securing two wins from as many games, the Reggae Girlz need just a draw against Haiti at the Stade Sylvio Cator on Sunday to secure their spot in the CFU final round of the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers. The Reggae Girlz defeated Martinique 3- 0 on Friday thanks to goals from Chinyelu Asher, Trudi Carter and Khadija Shaw. In the other game in the group, Haiti dispatched Guadeloupe 11-0.

The Reggae Girlz are at the top of the group with a plus sixteen goal difference while Haiti is in second with a plus thirteen goal difference. The last time the Reggae Girlz played Haiti was in 2014 where the Jamaicans won 2-0. Kickoff against Haiti is at 5:30 pm Jamaica time.
