Jamaican Andre Russell could be added to the West Indies squad for the last three One Day Internationals (ODI) and Twenty20s against England after a lengthy absence due to injury. Russell who returned to cricket in February 2018 after a 12 month ban, last played for the Windies during Bangladesh's tour of the Caribbean last year.
However, since then he has declined tours with the Windies due to injury, including the current one against England, citing that he was not fit enough to play a 50 over game. But reports now suggest that Russell could be added to the Windies squad as he has recovered enough to take part in the series. It means then that the all-rounder is in the reckoning for selection to the Windies World Cup squad.
