Samuels, Smith plunder South African bowling

Marlon Samuels and Devon Smith plundered the South African Invitational bowling, as the touring West Indians scored 508 all out to give the touring  team a 366 run lead  on day-2 of the 3-day tour match  at Willowmoore Park in Benoni.

Samuels who resumed on 103 not out, went on to score a double century, 203, before retiring out. Smith, who was 83 not out overnight, went on to score 174 before retiring hurt as well. Test captain Denesh Ramdin hit 48 not out as the tourists await the South African National team in the first test starting December 17.

The Invitational side reached 17-0 by the close.
