Sandals South Cost moves closer to Premier League qualification

Western Confed champions Sandals South Coast are just one win away from securing a place in next season's Red Stripe Premier League following their 2-1 win over Priory on Wednesday in the JFF Magnum Premier League play-off at the Crocs Lawn. Ron Daley and Carvel Blake got the goals for Sandals while Ricky Miller got Priory's consolation.

The win pushes Sandals to the top of the four team table with 8 points, three more than Cavalier who were held 1-1-1 by Rivoli United at the Stadium East. Cavalier were on their way to victory after being given a 59th minute lead by Devonte Francis.

But with three minutes remaining in regulation time, Romario Matterson grabbed a point for Rivoli who remain at the foot of the table on two points.
