Scorpions crumble to defeat against Pride

17 wickets fell on day three of the regional four day encounter at the Three W's Oval as the Jamaica Scorpions lost to the Barbados Pride by 41 runs. The Pride who began the day on 93-3 in their second innings, were bowled out for 187 with Nikita Miller leading the way with the ball with 6-76.

The Scorpions needing a target of 107 to win the match, were bowled out for 65 in 18 overs. John Campbell 19 and Andre McCarthy 14 were the only players to get into double digits. Scores in the match: Barbados Pride: 167 and 187; the Jamaica Scorpions 248 and 65. The Jamaica Scorpions will be back in action on January 4 against the Windward Islands Volcanoes at Sabina Park.
