The Jamaica Scorpions have finished fourth in this season's regional 4-day championship after Cricket West Indies (CWI) decided on Wednesday to cancel the last two rounds of the competition. The CWI release declared that the current standing will be final after the board acted on advice from the Medical Advisory Committee.
It means that the 5 year reign for the Guyana Jaguars has come to an end as the Barbados Pride were declared winners with 134.8 points. The Trinidad and Tobago Red Force are second with 94.6 with the Jaguars and the Scorpions following with both on 91.8.
The Windward Islands Volcanoes 78 and the Leeward Islands Hurricanes 52.8 complete the table. The Scorpions were set to host the Red Force in the ninth round before completing their fixture against the Pride in the 10th and final round.
