After falling five runs short of a century in the Jamaica Scorpions' opening 75 run defeat to the Barbados Pride in the regional Super 50 Tournament on Thursday, middle order batsman Andre McCarthy says he and the team need to quickly put the defeat behind them.
Chasing 266 for victory, the Scorpions were bowled out for 190 at the Warner Park Sports Complex in St Kitts. Man of the Match McCarthy top scored with 95 while Aldane Thomas chipped in with 41. The Scorpions will next be in action on Sunday against the Leeward Islands Hurricanes.
