Scorpions make three changes for next regional 4-day contest

The Jamaica Scorpions have made three changes to their squad for their 6th round regional four day game against the Guyana Jaguars starting on Thursday at the Trelawny Stadium. All-rounder Derval Green who picked up an injury in the last game against the Leeward Islands Hurricanes, has been replaced by medium-pacer Gordon Bryan, while Peat Salmon and Assad Fudadin have also been omitted.

The other two inclusions are Alwyn Williams and Dennis Bulli who return after injuries in the opening game against the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force. The full squad reads: Captain John Campbell, Alwyn Williams, Marquino Mindley, Nkrumah Bonner, Jermaine Blackwood, Oraine Williams, Dennis Bulli, Denis Smith, Nicholson Gordon, Jamie Merchant, Paul Palmer Jnr, Gordon Bryan and Patrick Harty Jnr.

The Scorpions will start the round in third position on 57.4 points, 3.4 behind the Jaguars 60.8. The Barbados Pride leads the standing with 84.2 points.
