Scorpions record back to back wins in regional 4-day competition

The Jamaica Scorpions have picked up back to back wins in the Cricket West Indies regional four day competition after a one wicket victory over the Leeward Islands Hurricanes at the Warner Park Sports Complex in St Kitts on Saturday’s third day. The Scorpions who began the day on 92-4 chasing a target of 157, got to their required score within the first session of play at 160-9 inside 47 overs. 

Assad Fuddadin top scored in the second innings with 38. Jamaican Damion Jacobs took 6-62 for the Hurricanes.

Scores in the match: Leeward Islands Hurricanes - 204 & 142, the Jamaica Scorpions - 190 & 160-9. The Scorpions will next be in action on February 7 away to the Guyana Jaguars.
