Scorpions to play group games in Super50 away

The Jamaica Scorpions will play all their group stage games of the 2018 regional Super50 in Antigua. The 2017 runners-up will open their campaign against the Leeward Islands Hurricanes on February 2 at the Coolidge Cricket Ground and close the group stages against the United States on February 18 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

The Scorpions group will also have the Guyana Jaguars and Kent County Cricket Club. Group ‘A’ has the defending champions the Barbados Pride, Trinidad and Tobago Red Force, the Windward Islands Volcanoes, Hampshire County Cricket Club and the Combined Campuses and Colleges Marooners.

Each team will play each other twice in the group stages with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals of the competition. The last time the Jamaican franchise won this competition was in 2011.
