She's A Maneater goes for Gold Cup success

Reigning horse of the year, the mighty She's A Maneater from the barn of 17-time champion trainer Wayne DaCosta will be seeking to add the prestigous Cal's Gold Cup to her many trophies she has won from  18 career starts on Saturday at Caymanas Park.

The 4 year old bay filly has won every major trophy race she has contested since 2017, easily making her one of the best ever local bred fillies, having won from five furlongs to 12 furlongs. Will In Charge who is conditioned by Robert Pearson, with his favourite rider Robert Halledeen in the saddle, has never beaten She's A Maneater under nine furlongs and although Will In Charge is a much better horse going two turns, She’s A  Maneater’s trainer Wayne DaCosta still believes it will be a thriller to the winning post.

The small field is completed by Chace The Great, Siempre Bueno, Houdini’s Magic, Another Bullet and Perfect Neighbour. First post for the 10 race card is 11:50 am with live coverage of all races on TVJ SN and Hitz 92 FM.
