Reigning Horse of the Year She's A Maneater turned the tables on the inform Will In Charge to land the 40th running of the Burger King Superstakes over 10 furlongs at Caymanas Park on Saturday. The 4 year old bay filly that has been beaten twice this year by Will In Charge, saw stablemate Drummer Boy setting the pace while sitting just off the fractions, before going head to head with her arch rival.

She’s A Maneater who was made the 4-5 favourite in the small field of six, won by a short head in 2 minutes and five seconds, the fastest time recorded for the event in 12 years. Meanwhile, the 5th running of the Invitational Mile, She's A Maneater’s full brother Without Exception with Javaniel Patterson aboard, started the trophy race double for trainer Wayne DaCosta by upstaging the favourite Hilly's Halo.

Without Exception won by 5 lengths in a new stakes record 1 minute, thirty-seven-and-one-fifth of a second. Dwight Chen's Chace The Great with former three-time champion jockey Dane Nelson astride, retained his Caribbean Sprint Championship title in 1 miunte, 11 seconds flat while Anthony “Baba” Nunes' Corazon captured the Juvenile Sprint for native bred 2 year olds in 1 minute, 19- and-two fifths of a second. DaCosta had a double on the programme while Nelson and apprentice Christopher Mamdeen had a double among the riders.
