Jonathan Walker secured silver for Jamaica at the Caribbean Area Squash Association (CASA) Junior Championships now underway in the Cayman Islands.
Walker went down in straight sets 11-7, 11-6, 11-8 to Shermane Griffith of Barbados in the Under-17 age group section.
Former Caribbean and All Jamaica champion Alyssa Mullings who was third in her age group, was the top female performer.
Mullings bounced back from a four set loss to Guyana’s Taylor Fernandes in the semi-finals to beat Thandi Myers of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) 11-1, 11-4, 11-6 in the third place playoff.
