St. George's College and Jamaica College will battle for the 2014 ISSA LIME Walker Cup Knockout title following semi-final victories over Charlie Smith and Hydel respectively Wednesday at the Constant Spring Field.
In a close contest, St. George's crafted a 1-0 win over Charlie Smith in the feature match of the double header.
After a goal-less first half, St. George's separated themselves from Charlie Smith mid-way the 2nd half through consistent goal poacher Amoy Brown.
In the first semi-final, Jamaica College turned back Hydel 2-1. They were 2nil up after 78 minutes.
The Walker Cup final is tentatively set for November 26 if neither school makes it to the Manning Cup final.
Jamaica College are the defending Manning Cup champions.
