Harbour View's coach Ludlow Bernard has admitted that his team still has a lot of work to do despite their 1-0 win over Humble Lion in the Red Stripe Premier League on Sunday evening. Wolmer's schoolboy Alphanso Gooden scored the winner in the second half and Bernard praised his team's resilience.
“We emphasized to them at half-time that we didn’t need to be playing these long ball because we had persons in the midfield who could keep possession of the ball. It’s a new unit all together so it’s going to take a little time to jell. We got one good look-in and the youngster (Gooden) was able to strike,” noted Bernard.
Harbour View are tenth on the table with 20 points, five places below Humble Lion who slipped to fifth on 31. Mo Bay United lead with 38 points ahead of Tivoli 32 and UWI and Portmore both on 32.
