STGC remain unbeaten in Manning Cup

Former champions St George’s College defeated Vauxhall 3-0 to remain unbeaten in the ISSA Flow Manning Cup competition on Friday at Winchester Park. St George’s are leaders of group "D" on 12 points, five more than St Catherine in second.

In Group "C" Holy Trinity blanked Edith Dalton James 5-0 thanks to a hatrick from Shae Smith and a goal each from Omar Cole and Kadeem Crooks. Smith netted in the 24th, 44th and 50th minutes with Cole's goal coming in the 19th while crooks found the net in minute 43. Camperdown got by Meadowbrook 4-0 and Jose Marti went down 3-1 at home to Clan Carthy.

In other matches, Denham Town got the better of Tarrant 2-0, while a goal from Jevaughn Cole in the 85th minute, saw St Catherine High prevailing 1-0 over Kingston Technical and Waterford High ended 1-0 against Cumberland.
