Chief Operating Officer of the Caribbean Premier League Pete Russell admits the owners of the Jamaica Tallawahs are considering moving the franchise to the Cayman Islands.
Russell admits that the Jamaica Tallawahs owners are considering the Caymanian market. He says the organizers are considering bringing three games in the 2019 season of the CPL to the Cayman Islands. He adds that if there is a good reception from those three games, then the Cayman Islands could have their own franchise.
In the 2014 season of the CPL, three games were brought to Grenada but due to low crowd support, organizers decided not to bring a franchise to that island.
