Fabian Allen, Derval Green and Brandon King are the Jamaicans involved in the West Indies' "B" squad for the Global T20 League in Canada later this month. With five franchises in Canada, Cricket Canada has decided to include a team from the Caribbean in the inaugural edition.
Allen, Green and King will join Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, Chadwick Walton and Sheldon Cottrell as the other Jamaicans that will be playing in this league. The Windies T20 "B" squad is completed by Anthony Bramble, Alick Athanaze, Roland Cato, Justin Greaves, Kavem Hodge, Jeremiah Louis, Obed McCoy, Khary Pierre, Nicolas Pooran, Shamar Springer and Sherfane Rutherford. The team is set to depart the Caribbean on June 14. The competition bowls off on June 28.
