Three new faces in Reggae Boyz training squad

Voice of Kingston College coach Ludlow Bernard

Ludlow Bernard, a member of Harbour View's coaching staff, says the invitation of Casseam Priesley to the Reggae Boyz trianing squad ahead of their friendly against Antigua comes as no surprise. Bernard who also coaches the Kingston College team that Priestley is a part of, expects good things from the 17 year old.

“Casseam has been one of our more consistent players at the schoolboy level and he has demonstrated his versatility in many positions throughout. He joined the Harbour View ranks and immediately made an impact and ascended himself to the senoior team for which he has really been a standout performer in games,” said Bernard.

Priestly is one of three new faces to the 21 member local based squad with the others being former national Under-20 player Dennis Taylor and Waterhouse' Ricardo Thomas. The training camp will run from March 13-15. Invited overseas-based players are expected in the island on Monday, March 19 and a second camp with invited players will resume on March 20.
