Tivoli Gardens, Cavalier and UWI FC all recorded victories in the latest round of action in the Red Stripe Premier League on Sunday. At the Barbican Field, Tivoli got past Boys’ Town 4-2 thanks to a brace from Andre Moulton and individual goals from Junior McGreggor and Colorado Murray. Tarrique Campbell and Garfield Gillespie got on the scoresheet for the 11th placed ‘Red Brigade’.
Over at Frome, Reno were clipped 1-0 by Cavalier, thanks to a 55th minute goal from Michael Spence, while over at the UWI Bowl, UWI FC defeated Sandals South Coast 2-0 through goals from Davion Garrison and Girvon Brown.
Portmore United and Montego Bay United battled out a 0-0 draw at the Prison Oval. Waterhouse picked up their first point under new coach Donovan Duckie after their 0-0 draw away to his former team Humble Lion.
On Monday at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex, defending champions Arnett Gardens will host the ‘Stars of the East’ Harbour View.
