Two players added to Reggae Boyz training squad

Humble Lion midfielder Kevaughn Isaacs and former national Under-20 goalkeeper Dennis Taylor and have been added to the Reggae Boyz 22-man local training squad in preparation for the inaugural CONCACAF Nations League later this year. Isaacs who has starred for the Clarendon-based club, gets his first nod while Reno goalkeeper Taylor returns after being a part of the training squad in April.

Four players from Red Stripe Premier League champions Portmore United have been selected including Maalique Foster, Jovan East, Ricardo Morris and Damano Solomon. Cavalier boasts five players in the squad with Alex Marshall, Kaheem Parris, Chevone Marsh, Clifton Woodbine and Jeadine White being selected.

Three Harbour View players in Javain Brown, Peter Lee Vassell and Deshane Beckford are included as well as the UWI duo of Amal Knight and Fabion McCarthy, and the Arnett Gardens pair of Damion Hyatt and Fabian Reid. Ladale Richie of Montego Bay United and Waterhouse's Ricardo Thomas, Jamiel Hardware of Boys' Town and Tevin Shaw of Tivoli Gardens complete the 22-man squad.

The Theodore Whitmore-coached Reggae Boyz will face the Cayman Islands in their first game in the CONCACAF Nations League on September 9 at home. The CONCACAF Nations League qualifying phase consists of 34 nations and will take place during the FIFA match windows in September, October and November 2018 and March 2019.
