Two roads named after 'Tappa' in Mo Bay

Former national player Theodore ‘Tappa’ Whitmore was honoured on Tuesday by the St James Parish Council with the naming of two roads around the Montego Bay Sports Complex in Catherine Hall.

Whitmore, who scored twice at the 1998 World Cup for Jamaica against Japan in France, will have not one, but two roads named after him, the Theodore Whitmore Cresent and the Theodore Whitmore Close.

The unveiling took place on Tuesday in Montego Bay.
