Two world record holders confirmed for Racers Grand Prix

Two world record holders, David Rudisha of Kenya and Wayde van Niekerk of South Africa , will join Usain Bolt in his farewell performance on Jamaican soil at the second staging of the Racers Grand Prix on June 10 at the National Stadium.

Great Britain's Olympic champion Mo Farah is another of the top overseas athletes that have already been confirmed for the meet.

Other notable names already signed up for the meet are Asafa Powell, Yohan Blake, Christian Taylor, Hansle Parchment, Blessing Okagbare, Tori Bowie, Danielle Williams, Javon Francis and Kaliese Spencer.

The meet which is being dubbed ‘Salute to a Legend’ in honour of Bolt, will climax with the men’s 100 metres, Bolts final competitive appearance on local soil. The action is set to start at 6:30 with a total of 21 events including 17 international events.
