U19 cricketers back home after unsuccessful campaign in CWI tournaments

Jamaica's Under 19 cricketers returned home on Friday after their unsuccessful sujourn in the Cricket West Indies regional 50 over and three day tournaments. The young Jamaicans finished fourth in the three day competition while ending 3rd in the ODI  tournament. Captain Raewin Senior said adjusting to the conditions in St Vincent and the Grenadines was a setback for the team.

18 year old left arm spinner Sanjay Brown was Jamaica's top bowler with 23 wickets in the two competitions combined. In the batting department, Carlos Brown held his hand up, finishing with 215 runs in the 50 over format, ending top of the competition list. The last time Jamaica won the Under-19 title was in 2012.
