Under-20 Reggae Boyz seek long term deals overseas

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Simon Preston

National Under-20 players Jamoi Topey and Nicque Daley, both of Cavalier SC, have departed the island as they seek long term deals in North and South America respectively, after impressing for club and country. Topey has secured a loan deal with United Soccer League side Bethlehem Steel FC for the 2019 season, while Daley will be on a six week trial in Chile with top flight club Colo-Colo.

Colo-Colo has a reputation for exporting talent to the European market. This club was the starting point for Arturo Vidal and Claudio Bravo. Alexis Sanchez also spent a season with this club.
