UWI FC switches venue for RSPL quarter final

Despite the quarter finals of the Red Stripe Premier League being set as a home and away tie, UWI FC have decided to play their home tie on a neutral ground. UWI who finished sixth in the regular season, were supposed to host Mount Pleasant Academy at the UWI Bowl but opted to play as a part of a double header at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Comlex on Sunday at 5:30 pm.

According to UWI coach Andrew Peart, the decision was made with the fans in mind. UWI and Mount Pleasant Academy have met three times this season with Mount Pleasant winning all three encounters. Arnett Gardens and Cavalier will meet in the second game at 8:00 pm.
