Waterhouse continue impressive start to JFF Women's League

Tasheka Small scored a first half double to help Waterhouse continue their impressive start to the JFF Women's League on Tuesday, hammering Cavalier 7-0 for their second win from as many matches in Zone "A" action at the Drewsland Stadium. Small was on target in the 24th and 37th minutes for the Drewsland based outfit, who went into the half time break leading 6-0.

The other scorers for the Xavier Gilbert-coached Waterhouse team were national striker Keniesha Reid, Tarana Clarke, Rushelle Grey, Latoya Dunahey and Ashley Sawyers. Tuesday's win for Waterhouse followed their 11-0 thrashing of Rangers 11-0 on the weekend. In the day's other Group "A" encounter, Fraziers Whip went down to St Ann Women 3-2 at Dunbeholden.

Shaniqua Williams netted a brace for St Ann while Nicola Brown scored their other goal. Shade Smith and Kelly Nunes were on target for Fraziers whip in the losing effort.

In Zone "B", Olympic Gardens surrendered a first half lead and were held one all by Trelawny Women at home at Cling Cling Oval. In the day's other game, SC Monarchs, who lost in the boardroom to Trelawny after the use of an ineligible player over the weekend, bounced back to hand Real Mobay their second defeat of the season beating them 1-0 at Royal Lakes.
