Waterhouse hopes for quick recovery of sick players

Ricky Chin, President of Waterhouse Football Club, is optimistic that his  players will make a quick recovery from the suspected Chikungunya virus, which resulted in the team's Red Stripe Premier League game against Barbican being postponed on Thursday.

Permission was granted for the match to be postponed, after several first choice Waterhouse players were hit by the virus, which continues to affect persons across the island.

Waterhouse also requested a postponement of Sunday's game against Harbour View, and Chin said, based on medical advice,  it's highly unlikely that the affected players will  will be able to play.
