Jamaica's debutant Anthony Watson failed to improve on his position in the men's skeleton event following his performance in the third run of the qualifiers at the Winter Olympic Games in Pyeonchang, South Korea on Friday.
Watson recorded a best score of 53.35 on the day to finish 29th of the 30 competitors in the event. He had an accumulative score of plus 3.17 to finish up his campaign at the Games. He needed to finish in the top 20 after heat three to advance to the gold medal fourth run.
The event was eventually won by South Korea's Yun Sung-Bin who made history when he became Asian Olympic skeleton champion after dominating the event in Pyeongchang.
