The West Indies "A" team followed up their unofficial test series win over England Lions by winning the ODI series after a 25 run victory in the second match at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua on Friday night to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three match series.
Electing to bat, the Caribbean team posted 256-9 from their 50 overs with Keemo Paul top-scoring with 55, Jamaican Jermaine Blackwood 53 and 45 from Raymon Reifer. Richard Gleeson and Sam Curran claimed three wickets apiece. In response, the Lions were ambushed by Jomel Warrican 3-41 and Paul 3-54 as they were dismissed for 231 in 48. 4 overs.
Alex Davies top-scored with 38. The third and final game of the series takes place on Sunday also at the Coolidge Cricket Ground starting at 1:00 pm local time.
